We founded Lawton Classic Bumpers after struggling to find quality bumper chromes for Mercedes R/C 107 and W/C 126 chassis cars. Original Mercedes-Benz parts were either ludicrously expensive or no longer available (NLA); secondhand parts introduced risk; and re-chroming was hit-and-miss in terms of the quality of finish, longevity, and lead-times!

So we approached a number of third parties around the world who specialise in producing metal parts to the highest standards. Using original bumper chromes for tooling we were able to produce stainless steel 'chrome' bumper cover sections to an outstanding quality, and at a sensible price.
